§         September meeting minutes approved.

§         September Treasury Report approved.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:       Vice President Horrace asked for committee reports:

§         SRB needs a conservation director if anyone wants to volunteer.

§         The Refuge had a Public Land Day at the Lake on Sept. 29; a small trash pickup was done.  Another group had already done a trash pickup within the previous week, so little trash was found.

§         The Lake Lowell plan is coming out in June July August September, October; the Federation will set up a meeting for all members.

IDAHO BASS FEDERATION: Tom Horrace gave the following Federation report:

§         Scales of Justice was Sept. 23; 29 boats participated including three from SRB.

§         Turkey Bowl is on C.J. Strike on Oct. 6.

§         Current Federation officers are done after this year, so new people need to step up for 2013.  If anyone wants to run they need to let Bruce know by November.

TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR: Tournament director Jim Thornock reported:

§         Brownlee payout done; Ted and Don will get their plaques and checks at the Snow Bowl.

§         Thanks to Jimmy and Tony for doing a good job as Tournament Director and Weighmaster this year.

§         2013 date setting meeting will be Nov. 1 at Cabela's in Boise.

YOUTH: Youth Director Jason Bousquet reported:

§         BWW check presentation; be sure to thank BWW for donations.  We gave them a thank-you certificate.  BWW wants to participate again next year.

§         For 2013 keep the Youth Open on Cascade, but look at possibly moving it up into June and going out of Blue Heron ramp instead of City Ramp.

CLASSIC / HAN: Directors Steve Day reported:

§         A check for $360 was given to the club from HSN.

§         Probably keep HSN on C.J. Strike again for 2013.

§         Everyone needs to remember to bring a can of food or a dollar to each meeting for the Needy Family program. Tom will collect the money / food.

§         LB has over $1000, looking at spending about $800 on Needy Family program and keeping a little money in the account.

§         Still waiting to see what happens at Lake Lowell to determine whether we continue the trash pickups.

§         People need to think about running for SRB officers; nominations will be in October. Nominations so far are:

o       President: Tom H

o       VP: Bill K

o       Slave Labor: Steve D

o       Tournament Director: Jay B

o       Weighmaster: Jeremy O

o       Youth: Jason B

o       HSN: Jay, Jeremy, Steve

§         2012 banquet is coming up in November; do we want to do pizza at Mancino's again this year?  If so, we need to look at reserving the pizza place for that night.  Another idea brought up was to hold the banquet on Sunday Nov. 4 so that the out-of-town people that came to fish the Nov. 3 Snow Bowl can participate in the banquet.

§         A motion was made and passed to pay SRB's $300 Snow Bowl entry; entry will be paid back to the club out of any winnings.

There being no more business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m.  The next meeting would be on Nov. 5 at the IHOP Restaurant in Nampa.
