Snake River Bassmasters Tournament Information

The Snake River Bassmasters usually have 5 or 6 club tournaments per year. These tournaments are fished as team events. Entry into the tournaments is $20 per team; $15 of which is paid out to the top teams (1-in-5 paid) and big fish award for that tournament. The other $5 is held back for plaques and other expenses. Team option pots are available: $10, $20 and $40 team weight pots and $20 Big Fish pot.

Our club also has a large open tournament each year called Harold Martin Memorial Classic. This tournament is open to all anglers and is usually a one-day tournament.

Snake River Bassmasters Lady Bass Auxiliary

The Snake River Bassmasters' Lady Bass Auxiliary has an annual open tournament: Snake River Lady Bass Open. In this tournament, guys can drive the boat, net fish or give advice, but only the ladies can fish. This is a half-day tournament with a family barbeque and raffle in the afternoon and is open to any lady anglers.

Another event that Lady Bass and the rest of the club are involved with is an annual Needy Family Food Drive. Club members are asked to bring a can of food or a dollar to every meeting throughout the year. In December, Lady Bass packages this food along with other items donated by local businesses into baskets and delivers the baskets to needy families just before Christmas.

Snake River Bassmasters Youth

The Snake River Bassmasters sponsors an annual open youth tournament each year: Snake River Youth Open. This is a half-day tournament with a family barbeque and raffle in the afternoon and is open to any youth up to 18 years of age. We usually have 2 or 3 age categories depending on the numbers and ages of kids that sign up. Limits are set at 3 bass and one panfish or other fish so that hopefully each kid can weigh in a fish of some sort. The BBQ has been sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings.

Awards Banquet Information

The Snake River Bassmasters annual awards banquet is held during the November club meeting at a local restaurant or other location. After the meeting and dinner, awards are handed out to the club´s top five teams of the year, big largemouth and big smallmouth bass for the year. That year´s club officers are also awarded plaques for their service. The President´s Award goes to the person that the president feels has contributed the most to the club over the last year.
